Murphy Rogers Awarded the 2020 Distinguished Service Award from The Pro Bono Project

In tandem with its commitment to providing pro bono legal services to the community, Murphy Rogers is proud to announce it was selected as this year’s recipient of The Distinguished Service Award from The Pro Bono Project of New Orleans.

In light of the pandemic, the award ceremony was held virtually. Peter Sloss accepted the award on behalf of the firm on October 22, 2020. Collectively, the attorneys of Murphy Rogers have volunteered over 500 hours with The Pro Bono Project in New Orleans, and have handled a variety of cases for low-income plaintiffs seeking legal assistance, ranging from lessee-landlord disputes to contractor fraud, such as the lawsuit described in the video.

The firm is proud to have assisted The Pro Bono Project over the years, and looks forward to continuing that relationship and giving back to the local community.
