Don obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance from Drake University and, after working in the IT/finance fields for over a decade, obtained his law degree from Tulane University Law School. Don then joined Murphy Rogers in 2004.
Don’s practice focuses on general civil litigation, commercial disputes, class action litigation, personal injury defense, and maritime issues, including maritime personal injury/death defense, cargo and charter party disputes, collisions, allisions, marine insurance coverage issues and maritime contract disputes. His practice includes a special emphasis on appellate practice and procedure, including preparing briefs at the district court and appellate court levels for Murphy Rogers as well as for attorneys of other firms on a broad range of issues in federal and state forums around the country.
Don is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Texas State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
