Wishing Director Charles L. Whited, Jr. a Happy Retirement

After twenty-eight (28) years with Murphy Rogers, Charles L. Whited, Jr., one of the Firm’s longtime directors, has retired, effective December 31, 2020. A native of New Orleans, Charles’s expertise and work on the maritime side of the Firm’s practice was well-recognized and appreciated by clients and colleagues around the world. Over the years, Charles has applied and shared his extensive expertise in disputes involving charter parties and bills of lading, as well as with cargo claims and oil pollution matters. Having spent time clerking at a P&I association in London, Charles brought a unique perspective to the Firm’s maritime work and provided valuable mentorship to his colleagues over the years.
